Service Description

Direct replacement for a standard 30" or 36" electric cooktop. Reusable items include existing countertop, junction box and ductwork for ventilation. 1. Shut-off power to the cooktop at the circuit panel. 2. Disconnect the electrical wires. 3. Loosen the mounting screws from under the countertop, then lift out and discard. 4. After cleaning the surface, drop-in the new cooktop , connect the wiring and secure with mounting screws or tape. **Increase in burners requires upgrading the circuit breaker. Connecting an updraft or downdraft requires additional work. ***Gas cooktop requires addition work.
